What it does
Trades or fills
Each row can be a complete trade, or a single fill that Traquil pairs into trades for you, first in first out.
Map once, preview always
Columns with recognised names are matched automatically; anything else you map by hand once. Nothing is saved until you have seen the preview.
Duplicates skipped
Import the same file twice and the trades you already have are skipped, so catching up on a week is safe.
Time zones and point values
Confirm the time zone of the file's times, and set a point value for any symbol Traquil does not recognise. Futures contracts are recognised for you.
A template for everything else
No export from your broker? Download the template, paste your trades into it in a spreadsheet and import that.
Export, on every plan
Everything you put in comes back out as CSV, on Free and Pro alike. No lock-in is a rule in Traquil, not a growth lever.
What it will not do
Said plainly, because a journal that overstates itself is the wrong tool for seeing clearly.
- There is no live broker sync yet. Read-only sync is on the roadmap; it will never place an order.
- Imported trades are marked Needs review until you open and save each one, so a mapping mistake cannot slip quietly into your statistics.
Questions
Which brokers can I import from?
Any broker or platform that exports trades or fills as CSV. Columns are matched by name where possible and mapped by hand once otherwise. If yours has no export, use the template.
Can I export my data?
Yes, on every plan, at any time, as CSV. You can also delete your account and its data from inside the app.
Is there automatic broker sync?
Not yet. Read-only broker sync is on the roadmap. Today it is CSV import, or a screenshot that drafts the trade for you.
