What it does
Questions about your own trading
Ask about your trades, their tags and the notes you wrote, and follow up to dig deeper. Suggested questions get you started.
Weekly and monthly reports
A summary of the week or month, up to four observations drawn from your trades and notes, one question to take into the next period, and how confident the read is given how much data there was. Generated when you ask for one.

Opt-in, every time
The AI only reads your journal after you turn on AI features in Settings. It is never switched on for you, and you can turn it off.
Never advice
It reviews your trading. It refuses to tell you what to buy or sell, and it never scolds. Honest about the trade, never judgemental about the trader.
Screenshot autofill
The same AI reads a broker screenshot into a drafted trade in Log Trade. That one is on Free too, 10 reads a month.
What it will not do
Said plainly, because a journal that overstates itself is the wrong tool for seeing clearly.
- Your journal text is sent to Anthropic, the AI provider, to produce an answer. That is why it is opt-in, and the privacy policy says so.
- An AI read of a small sample can be wrong. It works from your history, and it says so when the history is thin.
Questions
Does the AI give trading advice?
No. Ask Quil reviews your own journal and answers questions about it. It refuses to recommend trades, instruments or position sizes.
Who sees my data when I use Ask Quil?
To produce an answer, the relevant parts of your journal are sent to Anthropic, the AI provider. That only happens after you turn on AI features in Settings, and you can turn them off at any time.
